Our products support a wide range of applications including: Interior Trim and Skins, Fuel Tank Systems, Under-the-Hood Hoses, Glass Run Channels, and Bumper Fascia, supporting the automotive industry to meet increasing sustainability and environmental standards. Our products dedicated to this key sector include Polyolefin Adhesive and Primer Resins, Thermoplastic Vulcanizates (TPV’s), Polyolefin Elastomers (POE), and precise viscosity modifiers for synthetic oil.

Packaging Solutions

Mitsui Chemicals America, Inc. and affiliate companies provide innovative chemicals and materials to the healthcare, pharmaceutical and personal care industries. Designed to improve quality of life (QOL) our products support vision care, personal, and dental care applications. In addition, our nonwovens product line supports critical filtration applications. Our products dedicated to the vision care market include both low and high refractive index lens materials, light filtering lens materials, as well as lens coating materials. Our spunbond and meltblown nonwoven materials, as well as sensitive reaction solvents support a broad range of QOL applications.

Pest Control Solutions

Mitsui Chemicals America, Inc. supplies polymer raw materials and adhesive resins to the North American industry for food, cosmetic and healthcare packaging markets. We support innovative applications including: Retort Packaging, Easy Peel Lidding, Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) Shrink Film, Breathable Film, and Blister Packaging. We produce Adhesive Tie Layer resins that bond dissimilar polymer layers in complex barrier and breathable packages. We provide Polyolefin Elastomers (POE) that modify polyethylene or polypropylene, and customize Heat Seal Initiation Temperature (HSIT) of packaging films for high speed flexible packaging applications. In addition, we can provide specialty films for more sophisticated packaging needs.
